Round Tour - 7 Days

Day One

Arrival and meet our representative at the airport and proceed to Sigiriya via Elephant orphanage, Pinnawala. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya (Lion Rock, Sinhala: සීගිරිය, pronounced see-gee-REE-yah) is located in the central Matale District of the Central Province, Sri Lanka in an area dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa the site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital.

Day Two

After breakfast climb Sigiriya rock and visit Dambulla rock temple. Proceed to Kandy via spice gardens , Matale. In the evening Kandy cultural dance and visit Tooth Relic temple. Overnight stay at Kandy.

Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 km east of Colombo and 72 km north of Kandy. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. This temple complex dates back to the first century BCE. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Lord Buddha and his life. There are total of 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan kings and 4 statues of gods and goddesses.

Day Three

After breakfast visit Kandy city and Botanical garden at Peradeniya. And leave for Nuwara Eliya via visiting tea plantation and tea factory. Overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

Day Four

After breakfast proceed to Yala. In the evening Safari at Yala national Park. Overnight stay at Yala.

Day Five

After breakfast proceed to Mirissa via Hambanthota.

Day Six

After breakfast leave for Colombo via Dutch fort in Galle. Via Hikkaduwa visit turtle hatchery. And overnight stay at Colombo.

Galle fort in Sri Lanka is a prime Dutch colonial time city in Asia.

Day Seven

Drop off at the airport for departure flight.
